Red Queen Review

When I first pick the book up I wasn’t impressed. It reminded me of Cinder and how it started.

Both books were slow to start…but when it picked up …it really picked up.

Such a great book@ The author had a way of taking me into her world and filling my mind with new ideas. I am working on my first elemental fantasy book. I will keep you posted.

So back to the great book. It centers around a girl who finds out she’s special….I”m not going to give it away….but in the world where Mare lives, everything depends on the color of blood that pulses through your veins.

Those that have silver blood are powerful, rich, mean, and scary. This is where I thought my brain was going to explode with he different types of silvers. It’s almost too much.  There are so many different types of silver to keep track of!! I loved it and hated it at the same time.

Overall, I think the characters are believable and real, the twists and turns were right up there. I loved it1!!

You should take a read!! Now onto Delirium….

Take a peek!!!

K, L M

Kesha

Uh…I wrote these, but never posted them….I kept forgetting….oppseee, so enjoy!!

Problems, problems…and more Problems.

When she first arrived on the music scene I wasn’t sure I like her music, but then like all pop songs it wrapped itself around in my head. I hummed that song over and over again that summer. Then she came out with a few more. Now…now she’s got drama.

It seems to follower her around. So I decided to stay clear of it and focus on the tunes…so enjoy the song that started it all!

Linkin Park

Okay so I love the Transformers and if you notice at the end of all their movies they end it with a Linkin Park song!! How cool is that? I’ve always like the unique flare of these performers. They can emo it up or rage it up.

They fit right in with the Transformers!!

Auto-bots fall out!!!!

Murder By Death

When I met my life partner, she introduced me to her favorite underground band, Murder By Death and I was hooked. The lead singers voice reminds me of a Johnny Cash meets blue grass. It’s deep, rich, and just all around good. Not to mention they have an electric cello player! How cool is there?

So here’s a few I like….Oh and they’re lyrics are powerful….Killbot 2000 and Ash are two powerful songs.

B is for Britney Spears

She busted through the sugary coated doors of pop music when I was in highschool and I’ve been hooked ever since.

When I was in elementary school I would rush home after school and watch the Disney Channel where they still played the Mickey Mouse Club. At that time Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, JC Chavez, and Christina Aguilera were regulars. Then the show was axed!! I was devastated.

Then to my surprise, all of the above-mentioned people are name known singers who are iconic pop stars!

But back to Britney. She stood at the forefront…why I don’t know. Personally, I think that Christina has a far better voice, but maybe it’s the music. Her song winds its way around your synapses and you hum that song all day long. Even when you don’t want to.

So without further ado…here is a few of my favorites!
