Talk about a baby boom! I know about nine ladies who have had babies on my facebook feed! It’s awesome to see how each mother prepares for their new bundle of joy and what they choose to share with the world.
There were a lot of sonogram photos and 3-d images that make me leery of having children….I mean have you looked at one of those things…they are a tad bit creepy. At least they are to me. I’m sure if I ever decide to have a kiddo, I’ll love the one I get….but seriously though. What if they did one of those and spotted an alien or something. CRAZY… okay…enough about that.
I have kept track of all the adorable names that are now going to grace classrooms in about five years or so….
Paxton, Declan, Ashton, Skylar, Marlon Jr., Shayden, Gunnar, Drew, Olivia, and Nora. Wow that’s a lot. Do you like the names? I do!
I can’t wait to see pics of these little people growing up!! If I have a kid I would name the boy Abner Wilson…I don’t know why. And Ruth Alice…so I can call the kid Ruthless…LOL
Okay….so that’s all for now.
Norah Jones, Ottis Redding, and Paul Simon are just a few of my favorites!!
Boom Chicka Boom!!
This year I will be focusing on my favorite musicians. My posts will be short and sweet. So it might include music videos or even lyrics. I hope you enjoy feel free to comment with suggestions of new music!!
If I didn’t have the friends I did, I wouldn’t be here. I know it. There are those few that I can call on no matter what’s going on, they will drop everything to lend an ear. I do the same for them.
There are friends that just take you away from the reality of the world and make you realize how good you have it. They make you laugh and say stupid stuff. They get you and never judge.
There are those people that you can’t wait to see to tell things too on a daily basis!
Friends are awesome, I hope you have some peeps like this!
This past month I had to make the tough decision to put down my dog. To most people this isn’t a big deal, but to me its epic. I’ve had Baby for over ten years. She was the light of my lifr. She lnee just how to cheer me up. Whether it be lying on her back exposing her big belly, or rolling around in the grass. Gosh, I miss ger so mich.
The common response I get is , “Why don’t you get another dog?” It pisses me off. I can’t iust go get another dog. This “dog” that I had to lay to rest was a family member! She greeted me with a tail wag, smile, and wet kiss when Inwalked through the door. She tried to help me do yoga and often times took me on walks. Its just nost that easy to “get another dog”.
O’m sure someday I’ll enetettain the idea, but not now. Right now I miss my dog!!!
I must say that I am quite surprised by this book. When I first laid eyes on it, the semi-thin bright green cover piqued my interest. Then when I saw that it was the movie that Hermionie Granger, aka Emma Watson was in I knew that I wanted to read it as well as watch it.
So I dove right in not even knowing what to expect. First I didn’t know if I liked the way the book was organized with the letter format, but it quickly grew on me. I found myself right there with Charlie when he told Sam that she was beautiful and in the room with Patrick and Brad. I found myself rooting for Charlie when he saved Patrick from the jocks and the felt the pain of rejection when he messed up with Mary Elizabeth. The best part about the book was that I didn’t even know I was being sucked in until I finished the book in less than six hours. And it happened to be the first book I have finished of the year. I can’t wait for there to be more. I am reading The Secret Garden on the Kindle, but back to the story.
I loved this book for so many reason. First that Charlie was such a unique character and they way he thought about things or saw things that people didn’t want him to see. It just made me like him that much more. I like the animosity of Sam and Patrick. It’s like he just randomly met them one day at a football game. They were always there from the beginning, but fate told them to take a chance on Charlie. And they listened and did.
So it’s going to be hard to find anything that compares to this novel, but I will do my damndest to try.
