Catching Up

Have you seen the movie Cooties, with Elijah Woods? Hilarious. Check out the trailer!!! It’s a must watch if you like the same humor as Shaun of the Dead!!

Have you watched the BBC’s Vicious with Ian Mckellan? It’s one for the books! I tell yeah, it made me laugh so much. I wish I lived in their apartment bundling!!! Never a dull moment!!!

And books….let’s see I am currently reading a book of World War 1 poetry…..it’s very enlightening and makes me angry.

Fun Fridays~~~

Today marks two weeks since I hit upload on my novel. Woot…Sales are stead at 1-2 a day and steady.  I cound this a victory. It’s a hard business to break through the reader barrier. So we shall see.

But I wanted to step away from business and discuss fun! We all need a break right? Here are just a few Jimmy Fallon Lip Sync battles to break up the monotonous of your day!

And BOOM Harry Potter can rap!!!

W is for Woody and Will

Just a few of my favorite movies!!

U is for UMA!!!

The first movie I remember seeing her in was Pulp Fiction, I previously posted the dance scene between John Travolta and her, which is one of the iconic scenes of the movie. Check it out!

GATTACA was the next film I enjoyed with her as the leading lady! It’s one of those great films that deal with the future in respects to one’s DNA.

It’s a great film.

Next she kicks butts and leaves little to the imagination in her hit action films as Beatrix Kiddo….or The Bride, in Kill Bill 1 & 2. They are working on a third installment, I bet if trumps the other two with gore!

And she can dance and sing too!! The Producers was a hilarious film.

She can play anything thrown at her.

What’s your favorite?

P is for Paul

I’m referring to the comedic Paul Rudd.

“As If” if that doesn’t give you a hint, then you didn’t grow up in the 90’s.

I have probably watched this movie, oh about a thousand times or more.

He is one busy actor, appear and acting all over the place. I didn’t even recognize him in Romeo and Juliet. Did you?

He plays the guy Juliet’s parents want her to marry.

Flash Forward to the mid 2000’s, he made two great films. Our Idiot Brother and Wanderlust.

But my all time favorite film of his is This is 40! Hilarious film.

O is for Owen and Orlando

Just from the title I bet you know who I am talking about. If not, I’ll give you a hint….

The Haunting…

When I first saw this movie, I wasn’t sold that is was strictly a stray film, to it seemed more like a mystery. But then people started dying. I know he was in several previous movies, but this was my recollection of him. Then I saw Meet the Parents where he played the ex-boyfriend…HILARIOUS!

But two of my favorite roles are when he plays Jedidiah, a tiny cowboy with big dreams in the Night at the Museum movies, and John, he husband in Marley in me. I love, love, love that movie. What about you? I wanted to right out and buy a yellow lab.

Can’t wait to see what he plays next!!

Then we have Mr. Orlando Bloom, whose most notably remembered for his performances in The Lord of The Rings Trilogy as well as The Hobbit Triology.  He plays an elf so damn well. Do you agree?

M is for…Melissa and Molly

So M is for Melissa and Molly.

Okay technically speaking it’s Molly then Melissa.

So I’m talking about two of my favorite actresses, Molly Ringwald and Melissa Mcarthy.

Both of these ladies are phenomenal actress- side note did you know that Molly Ringwald has an album?

Okay so Molly was a 1980’s icon with movies like Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles, but her most notable claim to fame would be her role as a snooty preppy chick in The Breakfast Club. This movie is AWESOME!! I watch it every time it’s on TNT. There have been talks about remaking the film, but that’s all I hope they are, this movie is a serious cult classic.

She also played for several season’s opposite of Shailene Woodley, Tris from Divergent, The True Life of and American Teenager which aired on ABC Family.

Then we have the great comedian Melissa Mcarthy.

Unbeknownst to me, I’d been watching her all through my high school career, because she played Sookie on Gilmore Girls. How awesome is that?

For me it was Bridesmaids and Identity Theft that left me wanting more comedic performances by her.

What’s your favorite movie by these ladies?
